I’ve been swooning over the Random Orbit chandelier for quite some time now and have come to the conclusion that if I had a spare $1,850.00 to spend on a light fixture this most definitely would be the one I blew it on. But until that time comes, you can find me drooling over this photo and imagining how much richer my life would be with the Random Orbit in it. The End.
Posted In house and home, lightingI’m going ape over these vellum mobiles Jordan of oh happy day put together for Project Wedding! I love the look of sewn paper, but never imagined it like this. How perfect would these be for a kids party, a baby shower or a Thursday?
Posted In make itI just mentally added this delicate rope ring by Gabriela Artigas to my ever-growing wish list. So beautiful! {via design for mankind}
Posted In jewelry, wear itI become unapologetically excited when I come across a new-to-me stationery shop. Meet MaeMae Paperie. I’ve fallen for the Walter card set in all of its pastel glory in a big way. {via The Bright Side Project}
Posted In cards, paper goods, web designThis morning I can’t help crushing on these ironic, whimsical paintings by Austrian artist Mareike Auer. Prints are available in three different sizes in her shop, it’s just a matter of which one to snatch up. {via paper n stitch}
Posted In create, paintingSenior year in high school English class we had to write a sizable biography about, well anyone really, and I chose Andy Warhol. Not a lot of people outside of Pittsburgh know this, but the Steel City is the quirky Mr. Warhol’s hometown as well as mine. In fact, there’s a huge museum dedicated solely to his work. (If you’re ever in town it’s a must-see in my book.) The point of this tangent is that even with my 12th grade biography under my belt I had no idea Warhol experimented with Polaroids. Sadly, this exhibition of still life photos has been over for months, but I couldn’t resist sharing.
