Rose Stem Swizzle Sticks.
I’m nuts about these hand cast porcelain rose stem swizzle sticks. Slightly dark, but oh so fun!

Lemon Custard Cakes are a breeze to make and a great excuse to eat cake for breakfast! (Like I need another one…)

Posted In recipesI don’t know what it is about embroidered text, but these days I just can’t seem to get enough of it. I’m super jazzed about these pieces from Kate O’Connor. The handkerchiefs they’re sewn on make them that much sweeter. Swing by her portfolio to check out her paintings and illustrations as well!

Posted In create, textilesThose big containers of sugar and creamer always look so awful sitting on the counter in the office kitchen. Entermotion did a great job remedying this with their design for Roaster Joe’s creamer and sugar containers. A nice design that creates easy identifiers for each.

I can’t believe it’s taken so long to combine two of the hottest trends out there and come up with chalkboard wall vinyls! And right about now I’m wishing my office walls weren’t textured so that I could order one for myself…

The Lemon Drop is one of my personal favorites (the cocktail as well as the shot). There’s just something about that sweet-tart shock that gets me every time.
Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 oz vodka
– 3/4 oz lemon juice
– 1/2 oz Cointreau
– 1 teaspoon simple syrup (2:1)
Shake over ice, strain into sugar rimmed cocktail glass, garnish with lemon twist. Serves one.

Mini Filo (or Phyllo) Cups with Lemon Cream are the perfect bite of sweet-tart goodness! The ginger-spice creme fraiche and berries only add to something that could easily stand on its own two feet.

Posted In recipesI’ve been meaning to post about the amazing/beautiful/stunning wedding invitations at KenzieKate for at least a month now. But I really couldn’t say enough about them if I tried. I love their modern, fresh take on design. Like adding a patterned backside as well as experimentation with envelopes and adornments. In other words, yeah, I’m sold.
