Pittsburgh Print.

Let’s be honest, there’s aren’t exactly a lot of homages to Pittsburgh out there. At least not gorgeous ones like this Pittsburgh print from JHill Designs. I would have paid full price (I snatched up the medium), but this bad boy is on sale for 20% off through the end of the day in honor of the Steelers beating the crap out of the Cardinals in the Super Bowl last Sunday! Yay. Now I’m homesick.

O de Oliva.

If you read the olive oil descriptions on the O de Oliva site it sounds like a selection of fine wines.

“It has a very smooth taste, with hints of almonds and green apples.”

“It is a fruity oil, smooth yet persistent, with a long-lasting aroma, both on the palette and in the memory.”

“Fruity taste of ripe olive with a light taste of apple, slightly bitter and spicy.”

And the bottles look like something you’d proudly display in your kitchen with their simple, lovely design.

On the Rocks: Ginger Cosmopolitan.

Ginger Cosmos are incredibly potent, so don’t say I didn’t warn you! The ginger and cranberry pair together nicely for a drink that’s hard to turn down.

Ingredients:
– 2 cups cranberry juice
– 1 1/2 cups vodka
– 1/4 cup triple sec
– 1 cup Domaine de Canton

Combine ingredients in a pitcher and stir to combine. Serve in martini glasses with a garnish of orange zest if desired. Makes one pitcher.

Inner Message.

Romance at it’s best…

A few years ago a Korean singer wrote a song about the sunburn mark that he found on his finger after he broke up with his girlfriend and removed a ring he had been wearing for a long time. This is the story that inspired Jungyun Yoon to make ‘Inner message’, a ring with hidden letters on the inside. Inner message is a ring that leaves an impression on the finger.
