State Pride
1canoe2 always has happy things, but their illustrated state prints are one of my favorite things yet. I think I need to snag Pennsylvania and Oklahoma, the two states I’ve lived in longest. (via Oh So Beautiful Paper)

August 12, 2011 at 12:04 amIt’s so great that you’ve lived in Oklahoma! Sometimes a girl gets trapped in thinking nobody stylish comes from Oklahoma. Thanks for the encouragement!

August 16, 2011 at 10:04 amI keep hoping for a CT-specific print, but it’s only fair that my teeny home state is part of the New England piece. The lowercase f’s in “foundation” and “fair” are so lovely! I was born in Texas, and I also love the b’s in “big” and “bright.” Which to choose?
