Mechano Chairs.

Love how “some assembly required” these Mechano chairs look. I want the bright yellow ones in my kitchen so badly.

the mechano chair was more than likely infuenced by the popular british toy with a similar name. made of durable powder coated steel, the chair is available in colorful blue, red, white, or yellow. we could easily see these for use in cafes or as an accent piece.

The Daily Eat: Key Lime Dream Ice Cream.

I really envy people who have the knack for just creating recipes out of the blue. Like the creator of this Key Lime Dream Ice Cream had been making tons of key lime pies this summer and thought “What the hay? Let’s turn it into some ice cream.” I can’t do that. But I’m very, very thankful for those who can!

Peace + Calm.

Is sorta what I needed today after an evening with a constipated cat (I wish I were kidding…). I didn’t really get it, but oh well. Such is life! Until tomorrow, lovelies.

The Daily Eat: Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Ice Cream.

The craziest thing about this Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Ice Cream is that there are, in fact, no actual bagels harmed in the making of it. There is an incredible mix of two ice cream flavors – cream cheese and cinnamon – as well as Jack Daniel’s-soaked raisins and an option to top the finished product with bagel chips. Sounds like something I might create after a night of drinking, um, hot cocoa with friends.

Taka Trunk.

Steamer trunks carry an old-fashioned coolness about them that never seems to get old. Add a few drawers and cool storage compartments like this Taka Trunk and you have an incredibly functional piece of furniture that becomes timeless.

On the Rocks: Funky Diva.

Aside from despising the name of the Funky Diva, I love everything else about it. Fizzy orange perfection.

Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 oz Leblon cachaça
– 1/2 oz Aperol liqueur
– 1/2 oz Grand Marnier
– dash of simple syrup
– blood orange, cut into chunks
– Champagne

Muddle blood orange and simple syrup. Shake with all the ingredients except Champagne. Pour into a tall glass and top with Champagne.
