There are at least a hundred quotes that could describe how I’m feeling today, but this one seems to do it best…

Happy {New Year’s} Weekend.

Just as the holidays are settling down and things are starting to resemble normal, I’m headed back to Pennsylvania for Orthodox Christmas (It’s January 7th according to the Julian calendar). I’ll be MIA next Monday through Thursday, but will make a rousing return Friday! Until then have a fantastic week.

This Weekend:
• make copies of house key for house sitter
• pack for Pennsylvania
• do laundry
• dinner at Buddha Tao with C & C
• hang out with A before he heads back to CA
• take down Christmas decorations

Happy New Year’s Weekend!

Picture It.

I’m a visual person which is probably one of the biggest reasons that I became a designer (besides being obsessed with color and type!). Because of this (or thanks to it) I’ve amassed a ginormous selection of images that I grab from here and there (a great many are from ffffound) and it’s gotten to the point where I need to do something about it. Namely, either start a second blog or a new daily feature. So starting today – because new years are great for new starts – you’ll be getting a daily dose of inspiration via Picture It. If you get half as much delight from these beauties as I do then it’s served its purpose!

Francis Ford Coppola Encyclopedia Wines.

I’m loving the clean, simple packaging of Francis Ford Coppola Encyclopedia wines.

“With Francis Ford Coppola Encyclopedia, we have hand-selected wines from around the world to begin a journey into understanding how wine is tied to and influenced by culture. Geography, history, food and religion, to name a few, all determine how and why wine is made and enjoyed. Our winemaking team traveled to Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Argentina – five countries where wine cultivation has thrived for centuries, to choose varietals that best represent the culture and traditions of each of these storied winegrowing regions. In turn, Encyclopedia wines are proud storytellers.”
