Embroidery Thread

Ever since making these necklaces for some friends I’ve been flat-out obsessed with embroidery thread. My only tryst with it in the past was short-lived, in the form of 6th grade bracelet making. In fact, some of the thread I used on my necklaces was from the 6th grade. (No joke. It’s in a box with my name on it.) All of a sudden the possibilities seem limitless.

My mom is an expert embroidery artist, ever since I was really little. I was always obsessed with the colors, the silky-shiny textures and neat little lassos that the threads are packaged in too.

    Right there with you!

I love the fact that many of my crafting staples from my childhood crafting days with my mom (such as embroidery thread, felt, glitter, etc.) are still able to be used in “grown up” projects today!!!!!

    Fun finds…very inspiring 🙂

Um, could I possibly be on the receiving end of one of these necklaces? Pretty please? I promise I’ll send your birthday present from 2 years ago. By Christmas, even!!!
    Miss you!!!
