I’m thrilled to finally be able to share the latest work of my friend Dane Horvath, PGH / Digs is an art and architectural documentary focusing on residential homes in the city of Pittsburgh (my hometown) through graphic illustrations. Ranch, town, Victorian – no style is excluded from Horvath’s project. You can even commission a house of your own in Dane’s hand, Pittsburgher or not. And I’m crossing my fingers that prints are soon to follow! (See more of her creativity at Steeltown Anthem and Reconstructing Ideas.)

The Animal Alphabet in Primitive Portraits by Mat Mabe is something I’ve been thinking about since first seeing it several days ago, each face is so distinct and each animal feels so alive it might jump off the print. Flight Tag Prints

Airport codes have always fascinated me, the fact that three little letters assigned to each location are responsible for keeping the entire system organized the world over. Pretty amazing. Neil Stevens seemingly agrees, he’s created a series of flight tag prints based on vintage luggage tags dating back to the 1950s. Which one is your favorite? Animals Loose in NYC

When a dolphin got stuck in the Gowanus Canal recently, designer Thomas Wilder created wanted posters representing the history of unexpected reports of animals on the loose in NYC over the past ten years.
