I was happy to see that Anthony Burrill, of Work Hard & Be Nice to People fame, has some newer prints in his shop. This man knows how to do graphics right, that’s for sure. {via Happy Cavalier}

Lisa Jones Studio.

After spotting Lisa Jones Studio over on decor8 yesterday I had to see more for myself. I love her use of flat fields of color, especially coincidentally on her valentines.

Cynthia Warren Design.

Designer, Illustrator, Calligrapher… you name the hat and Cynthia Warren can wear it. Extraordinarily well. Her pieces and clients are incredibly varied, but all retain the romantic elements that she does best. Looks like growing up in a massive victorian and having the influence of a woodworking father leads to brilliant design work!

I’m not a math or science girl by any mean, although I did take AP Bio, thankyouverymuch. But I can’t help loving a good, smart art diagram. Lucky for me 9 0 0 0‘s photostream is overflowing with them. (Pssst… the first one is my very favorite!)

The Cutty Spot.

Michael Karras is the designer and the brains (and the hands) behind The Cutty Spot. The man appears to have the patience of a saint and the precision of a laser!

“Each poster is hand cut and individually set, so no two letters (or posters) are alike. Each is cut out of 22 x 30 natural white Archers paper. The collection you see on the site now includes only the vowels, but every letter of the alphabet is available to order. Each letter will be produced only once.”

Michael Young.

Hong Kong-based designer Michael Young is the epitome of successful in his field. And so widely copied is his work that chances are you’ve come across it and not even known. I love that his work spans the gamut from large to small and everywhere in between. Young has only recently popped up on my radar, but now that my eyes are open I’ll definitely be keeping a look out for more from this amazing designer.

Studio Mela.

I’m silly. Silly because I’ve seen this Break the Routine print just about everywhere but my own living room and paid no attention to where it came from. Of course that would be Studio Mela which I’m now absolutely head over heels for.
