October DIYs

As the holidays edge ever closer, the DIY gods smile down upon us ever often. Or such is the case so far this month. There have been more creative DIYs than I can keep track of, but these ten have stuck in my mind. Have you seen any great projects lately?

Curious Vase

What’s better than a cleanly designed vase? Several cleanly designed vases nestled one inside the other, where each outer vase has to be broken in order to reach the next. What shape will the next one be? Is it worth it? Curious Vase is definitely aptly named. (via Design Mom)

Oklahoma is so freakin’ hot every summer that once I turn on the AC in May it rarely gets turned off before late September. It’s that bad. But the thing is, when a house is closed up and relying on circulated air like that it starts to get a funk about it. You know what I’m talking about, right? Something needs to be done and that something is candles. I’m really picky when it comes to what smells I can tolerate (Thanks, Mom!), and think spending a little extra definitely pays off. What are your go-tos?
