OvoPur.

I love the egg-like shape of the OvoPur, an eco-friendly water filter. There’s also the OvoBar, a beverage dispenser for whatever you choose. How gorgeous would either of these look sitting on your counter? Very.

Pewter Stoneware.

My grandmother has an impressive china cabinet in her dining room filled to the brim with heavy pewter pieces and chunky white stoneware that we only bring out for holidays and special occasions. She’s been collecting it all for ages and I can’t help but associate the two things with her and her delicious cooking. I think that’s why this pewter stoneware first struck a chord in me. But then I realized what a daring fusion it was of two distinct styles and couldn’t stop staring.

Silverware Dishtowels.

Big utensils photoprinted on dishtowels. Kind of the modern equivalent of those humongous wooden forks and spoons everyone had on their kitchen walls back in the day, only much more chic!

CB2 Love.

It’s been awhile since I flipped the pages of a catalog, oohing and aahing over every other page. But after returning home from my last trip to Pennsylvania to find the latest CB2 catalog waiting in my mailbox, that’s exactly what happened. Everything just feels so clean and fresh and ready to slide right into my life. If I hit the lottery or got a big bonus tomorrow, these are the pieces I’d snatch up first…

1. galvanized 12 bottle wine rack 2. go-cart 3 shelf table 3. engine barstools
4. perspective mirror 5. metal trunks 6. twiggy side table 7. pulley pendant lamp
8. gear candleholder

2

Oiva Tablewear.

The Oiva tablewear collection consists of five cups, three bowls, three plates and a teapot. Am I crazy to think that these are the only things I could ever need in my kitchen cupboards? Mad love, I tell ya. (Supposedly available here as of Fall 09…) {via SeeSaw Designs}

Straight-Sided Jars.

I become obsessed with the most random everyday things. Like these commercial straight-sided jars. The instant I saw them I wanted them. Just to put things in. Things to display within their glass jail cell walls. A museum of sorts with ever-evolving exhibits.

Coffee + Tea Maker.

I love when things are put together with other things to make said things more, well, purposeful. Like in the case of the coffee and tea maker. It makes six cups of either and even filters the water while its at it. That’s just plain good design sense.
