Pitchers + Jugs

I’ve been taking stock of serving vessels that I have in the house as holiday entertaining season starts to draw near. By putting out pitchers of water, decanters of wine, and jugs of cream for coffee you’re sure to save yourself time and make your guests feel very much at home. No one needs to ask about refills when it’s serve yourself!

Haand

haand-1-design-crush

The first thing I noticed about Haand‘s pottery pieces is that several can be used in multiple ways – kitchen, bedroom dresser, dining table, and more. Each piece is designed by Mark Warren and crafted by hand in Eli Whitney, North Carolina at the Haand workshop by a small team of dedicated makers. The care and attention paid to each “farmhouse futuristic” piece is abundantly clear.

Wayne White X Fishs Eddy Serving Trays

Wayne White X Fishs Eddy Serving Trays-1-Design Crush

Fishs Eddy always pulls together some fantastic collaborations that capitalize on both parties and their notable combined expertise. This time they’ve teamed up with Wayne White to create a series of nine fiberglass serving trays featuring some of his distinctive text-based paintings. Any one of them would make a great addition to any art lovers home.

All Things Coffee

Maybe you’ve noticed the days getting shorter, or your kiddos are headed back to the classroom, or you just really love the stuff *raises hand*. It doesn’t feel like a day has truly begun until I’ve had a big mug of coffee. During the week I’m usually in a rush to get started working so I stick to standard drip in my Cuisinart, but when I have more time on the weekend to make coffee a ritual I opt for my french press or Chemex. I’m curious – how do you make yours?

Abeego

Abeego-1-Design Crush

I reuse plastic food storage bags more than once, and admittedly sometimes plastic wrap as well. Since recently discovering Abeego I might not have to for much longer though. Abeego is a reusable beeswax-coated wrap that protects food and lets it breathe just like a lemon peel, onion skin, or cheese rind. The result is naturally fresher food. Each wrap is washable and will last up to a year when properly cared for.

Bonnie and Neil

Bonnie and Neil-Design Crush

I first came across Australian textile design studio/duo Bonnie and Neil about a year ago, and it gave me butterflies. Their vibrant range of home products incorporate botanicals, bright patterns, and an occasional nod to Australiana culture, with designs influenced by their surroundings and a love of color. My favorites though are Bonnie and Neil’s plate collection (get in my cupboard already!).
