Paper Boat Serving Set.
Oh yes, I’d love to have this Paper Boat Serving Set perched upon my kitchen table. Although I’m not so sure I could bring myself to serve anything out of it, it’s just so crisp and clean the way it is.

Posted In kitchenWhile researching an upcoming project I tripped across Yorktown Road and promptly wondered where this shop had been all my life. Owner Carol Gilbert creates her freeform pieces by letting the fabrics guide her, with no working guidelines involved. The colored linens she uses are so deeply saturated that it’s hard to pick a favorite color or piece, so I’ll just take one of each.
Posted In accessories, bags, house and home, wear itOh, Tom Dixon, you’ve gone and melted my heart again. This time it’s with your Jack Pressed Glass Bead Pendants. I love their heavyweight, industrial style and all of their little imperfections. And that green tint? I do. {via Better Living Through Design}
Posted In house and home, lightingI’m a closet blanket junkie. Literally, I have an entire shelf of them in my hall closet. Now I’m looking to add this flag knit throw to my collection thanks to Cass. I love how it’s patriotic without trying too hard.

I have Eat Drink Chic to thank for introducing me to the wonderful world of Donna Wilson and her quirky creatures and characters. I want to pinch and every one of those rosy red cheeks.
Being a super-planner, one of my favorite giveaways we’ve done was Mary Kate McDevitt’s Mini Goal Chalkboard. So I was really excited when she emailed me with her Mini Goal Clockboards that allow you to plan your goals down to the minute. Perfect for this OCD girl.
Posted In accessories, house and homeThere’s no greater beauty than that found in everyday objects. Especially when those objects are turned into functional pieces of art like these porcelain doorstops.
Posted In accessories, grand design, house and homeGuess who just happens to have some extra cork and empty cans laying around? And then guess who’s going to try her hand at these cork vases and containers? That’s right, this girl.

This week’s giveaway from CSN Stores is so rad, you’ll want to have your speaker stands set up and blasting so you can hear me announce it loud and clear!
The Node Bowl by designer Kevin Williams is a nice example of the dynamics of light and shadow. Display it as a sculptural piece or let it chill on your kitchen counter holding fruits and veggies. I think I’d put it in the center of my white tulip table in my kitchen, holding some lemons and limes.

Posted In house and home, win itI’ve been swooning over the Random Orbit chandelier for quite some time now and have come to the conclusion that if I had a spare $1,850.00 to spend on a light fixture this most definitely would be the one I blew it on. But until that time comes, you can find me drooling over this photo and imagining how much richer my life would be with the Random Orbit in it. The End.
