Hicks Pendant.

Someday I’m going to need a house with many, many rooms in order to accommodate the massive light fixture collection I hope to acquire! My latest crush is on the Hicks Pendant. In my mind’s eye this one would be headed for the bathroom or a nice, longish hallway where I could line up a few in a row. Lovely!

DIY Oilcloth Placemats.

I haven’t gone on a picnic in years which is really sad. But I only like them when they’re well-planned and thought out and that takes, well, time. I’m thinking that these little DIY oilcloth placemats that hold both your silverware and napkin might give me the excuse I need to head out to the closest park and share some food with the ants! Check out the full tutorial to make a set of your own.

Citrus Juicer.

For some reason I’ve always wanted to own a citrus juicer like this one. I’d set it proudly upon my counter with my Kitchen-Aid mixer and Cuisinart coffee maker and call it a day. Now it seems like at least the first part of that equation is in my budget. I’m loving the color and style of this little guy. And surprise, surprise – it’s from Martha’s Collection.

PB Summer.

I confess. I went through my Pottery Barn phase just like everyone else. There, I’ve said it! I’ll also admit that I still receive their seasonal catalogues in the mail and am rarely interested in more than one item I see there. So when I cracked open PB’s summer issue I wasn’t expecting to see much that piqued my interests. Surprised is an understatement – I found something on almost every. single. page. Is this a new dawn of design for Pottery Barn?

Ceramic Rise & Fall Lamp.

I’m in a major lamp lovin’ phase as of late and this is my favorite of my favorites: the Ceramic Rise & Fall Lamp. Some of you may have noticed this little gem in the last issue of Domino. It caught my eye and there was no going back. You can control the height of the lamp and the concentration of light by adjusting the pulley system. This one’s going to need to be mine at some point.

Porcelain Fortune Cookies.

Since I consider myself somewhat of a fortune cookie aficionado, these porcelain versions of the crispy treat caught my eye. They’d look great piled in a bowl as a centerpiece or as place-card holders. Just don’t try to crack one open because there aren’t any actual fortunes inside!
