12 Books in a Box.

12 Books in a Box would make my life so organized that it would hurt. Perfect for keeping a journal, a sketch diary, or just about anything else. They’re covered with handmade paper and come snuggled into a little box for safekeeping. I hate it when my notebooks/journals/sketchbooks get all tattered and would love pulling out a fresh new one each and every month!

This week I’m really stoked to share the artistic talents of Haley of Bread of Many, a D.C. transplant now living abroad in Cambridge, England. I love the raw quality of all of Haley’s illustrations, clean but not too polished. Real.

This week she’s gifting one of you with a set of HUSH note cards (as seen the Winter 2010 issue of Vogue Knitting). Six flat note cards with matching envelopes, featuring an illustration of a little girl knitting sweetly in the corner. Perfect for sending a note or jotting down a quick list.

Happy Weekend.

It felt great to get back to regular blogging this week after almost a month of haphazard posts. Thanks for waiting out the flu and two Christmases with me!

You may have noticed one sizable change here over the past week: The Daily Eat is no longer with us. After a year and half I’ve decided it was time to take things in a fresher direction. Buttons Print.

Eva Juliet never fails to impress and this Buttons print is no exception. I love those candy-colored hues! This piece would be perfectly at home in my little studio, reminding me that I’d really love to learn to sew more than fallen off buttons.

Win It: Becca Heuer.


What better way to kick off the new year than with a calendar giveaway?! Exactly, there really isn’t one. At least here in Blogland.
