This month we partnered again with Vivian Kvitka, aka The Good Viv, to bring you two printable valentines to spread the love. The world needs as much as it can get, and a sweet sentiment or piece of mail (that’s not a bill) has the ability to make people genuinely smile! These print two to a page and can be mailed like a postcard – just write on the back, address, and add stamp – or handed out in person. I think the thing I love most is neither is actually Valentine’s Day specific, they’re all about love and support so print out a bunch and share the good feels!

You know what they say – side table in the living room, nightstand in the bedroom! (Oh wait, I’m the only one who says that. I digress.) Tiny tables are a part of decorating that I especially look forward to. They can be relatively affordable and simply swapping one or two out can change the look and feel of an entire space. Check out these ten that have caught my eye, I’m really feeling warm metals lately.

It’s just such a classy piece of furniture, a bar cart taken to the next level that’s ready to welcome you after a long day or guests the minute they walk into your home. My favorites have always a mid-century vibe, but I’m also loving some of the more unique pieces below. How about you, do you prefer a bar cart or cabinet?

I’ve been trying to use the mindset that every day is a good day to use things that feel special, including the cloth napkins in my pantry. Using them for an ordinary Tuesday dinner has the ability to make the pot of soup you’ve been eating for a few days taste 100% better.

I’ve only had two real beds in my life, a cherrywood sleigh daybed and a curved iron headboard that I’ve had since my mid-20s. (The cheap-o bed frame that I had in college and grad school certainly doesn’t count!) Right now I’m in the midst of a bedroom redo – plenty more on that to come – and am on the hunt for a new headboard, something more boho chic that reflects what my style has evolved into over the past decade.

Lentils are a food that only found a place in my pantry a few years ago, we simply didn’t eat them while I was growing up. Now I love these versatile legumes! They’re delicious in soups, salads, grain bowls, and a hundred other ways as well. Here are twelve recipes I’m eyeing to make sooner than later.
