A few months ago I discovered the virtues of homemade granola. I feel like one of you should have told me about it sooner! You can eat it in so many ways – as cereal, mixed in yogurt, on ice cream – and make so many variations on a basic recipe. One of my favorite parts of the design blog world during the holidays is the veritable plethora of printable gift tags. Freeprintable gift tags that is, to download to your heart’s content. Here are 28 from this year alone.
I don’t care what anyone says, homemade gifts are always some of the best. (Especially when prettily packaged!) During the holidays I think it’s nice to have a little special something for those people you wouldn’t necessarily buy a gift for but are still thinking about. Here are a few of my favorites this December.
I’ve always, always wanted a subscription to the Fruit of the Month club for Christmas. Seriously. Well, New York Mouth takes that wish of mine and dips it in gold and throws some diamond dust on top for good measure. Hand-crafted, small-batch, indie foods from New York packaged all pretty like and delivered to your (or the lucky gift recipient’s) door. Their monthly subscriptions are my favorite, but you can also purchase a la carte. YUM.
Shopping is awesome, and anything that makes shopping easier is also awesome by default.
Have you heard of Beso? It’s a site that organizes tens of millions of products from thousands of stores and brands (so yeah, a lot) in one place for you to browse to your heart’s content.
