We’ve all heard of apple butter (yum!), but Pear Butter? Yup, and it looks delicious!

Posted In recipesHello Lucky did a great job merging retro and modern design in their series of Halloween cards. Think I might purchase one to frame and bring out as my Halloween print every October!
Posted In cards, halloween, holidays, paper goodsI love a good cake plate, which is what I see these mini pedestals as in my mind. Or maybe it would hold my perfume bottles. Or spice bottles. Each vintage base is unique and handcrafted out of a vintage powder coated brass candlestick holder base and detachable oval corian top. Because the base and top detach, the possibilities really are endless! {via Two Brunettes}
Posted In kitchenI’m equal parts repulsed and fascinated with this Teeth Mug. The perfect combination for the Halloween-o-phile I’d say. {via Better Living Through Design}
Lately I’ve been thinking I need an upgrade from the Timbuk2 bag that I use to haul things back and forth from work. It’s a great bag, proof being that I’ve been using and abusing it since grad school and it’s none the worse for the wear. But it’s sooo not classy. While The Director bag from Malcolm Fontier sooo is. {via Design Milk}
Tequila is almost always my weapon of choice, but I’ve never tasted any that’s infused with another flavor. Interesting. One more reason to try this Smoky Pear Margarita, wouldn’t you say?
Smoky Pear Margarita
– 1 1/2 oz pear infused silver tequila
– dash tobala Mescal
– 1/2 oz fresh sour
– 1/2 oz lime
– 1/2 oz triple sec
Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with pear slice.

Posted In recipesI love the muted use of normally boisterous colors and great attention to detail exhibited in Masha D’Yans watercolors. So sweet. And how adorable is that little bird?! {via paper crave}
