Sorry, I couldn’t help it. Because even after living in Oklahoma on and off for the past ten years I’m still just a PA girl at heart! I might just need this necklace to say it on a daily basis. (Just in case you’re not a fan of the Keystone State, others are available as well…)
Yes please. I would gladly climb into this pimped out hammock with a book, a blanket and some tea. I’m loving the idea of complete outdoor rooms these days. My miniscule backyard is about to be fenced in for some privacy and I’m scheming all sorts of ways to make it an extension of my home.
Hop on over to Layers of Meaning to see the second week of the 2nd Edition of Maria Fe’s Through Her Eye’s series. This week it’s all about favorite childhood stories and photos. I actually asked my mom to send me one of her favorite pictures of me as a kiddo and this is what I got. I’ve always been the victim of some wicked bedhead!
The Vipera is a heavily-infused pear vodka and applejack cocktail that’s sure to get the party hoppin’… even if it’s just you alone in your living room watching the Lost season finale tonight!
Ingredients: – 2 oz pear infused Herradura Silver Tequila – 1/2 oz yellow chartreuse – 1/2 oz applejack bonded
Stir over cracked ice and strain into an A/P coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a thin pear slice.
Pear Infused Tequila: Take 3 Bartlett pears and 1 Granny Smith Apple, cut into cubes (peels, cores, & all). Add 2 cloves and one cinnamon stick and one liter of Herradura Silver Tequila. Store in a glass container for 6 days, shaking it periodically. Then double strain all the fruit and spices out and keep refrigerated.
There are only seven ingredients in this simple Habanero Cucumber Dip, making it a great fallback snack/appetizer for the summer. Dig in with crackers, chips or veggies!
Hotcup is a porcelain cup and saucer that works together to keep your beverage, well, hot. The saucer is quite literally wrapped around the cup and functions as an insulator. So delicate and pretty.
Can’t say that I’ve ever turned down a box of wine. But this box of vino from Revelry Vinters is extraordinary. Not to mention space saving or the fact that you’d be proud if someone saw it kicked back in your fridge. And the fact that the company actually cares a good deal about how their wine is packaged is a total turn on.
