Cubby Display Bathroom.
What I wouldn’t give to have this sort of organization at my soapy fingertips! Not to even speak of the humongous amount of storage it creates. And it looks like such an element of surprise. You walk into what you’re assuming is a pretty, clean white bathroom and then you turn around and BAM! your eyes are full of this amazing display of bags, purses and shoes. Give me any excuse to have a wooden ladder as both decorative and functional in an indoor space and I’m totally on board.

Index Card Pouch – notes to myself.
How sweet is this little pouch? I’m always writing down things on scraps of paper and then shoving them into my purse where they inevitably fall into the abyss and are never seen again. This pouch would be the perfect place to stash them for safe keeping.

The Daily Eat: Roasted Strawberry Salad with Baked Goat Cheese.
Goat cheese is one of those things that I always forget I love until I see it mentioned. Breaded and baked goat cheese is one of life’s little pleasures – it turns into a cream cheese-like consistency with a little crunchy crust that words can’t describe. I love the idea of pairing it with something sweet and juicy like this Roasted Strawberry Salad with Baked Goat Cheese. YUM!

Away We Go.
Last night I went to an advance showing of Away We Go. Awesome, awesome, awesome movie. Great storyline, great cast and great soundtrack. Directed by Sam Mendes and written by real-life couple Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida, it’s the perfect mix of heartfelt and gut-wrenching hilarious. In other words, see it!

Glasses Shop.
The last pair of glasses I bought was waaay back in 2001. They’re a sweet black cat-eyed pair from Nicole Miller and I’ve replaced the lenses probably three times since then. I love wearing my glasses at least three days of the week and they’re in rotation with a pair from Calvin Klein and another from Nautica. But who am I kidding, glasses are freakin’ expensive and I can’t afford to drop a couple hundred every time I want an updated look!
Luckily, I now have greedy girl to thank for introducing me to Glasses Shop. It’s online which is way better than a trip to the eye doc’s and even more importantly it’s cheap. I just called my optometrist and asked them to release my prescription and after a little bit of paperwork (boring legal stuff) I had it in my hot little hands! Now I’m on the hunt for a new pair of glasses. Right now these two are in the running…

The Daily Eat: Jerk Chicken, Nectarine + Goat Cheese Salad.
Jerk Chicken, Nectarine and Goat Cheese Salad? Yes, please! Nectarines are my favorite stone fruit and I’ve been putting goat cheese on anything and everything lately. These flavors paired with the spicy jerk chicken sound like heaven!
PS: I must be inspired by Salad Week – I’ve eaten one for dinner every day this week!
