Did you have a sticker book when you were a kid? Oh, the 80s. I remember mine had a foiled purple cover and was bound with a yellow spiral. My babysitter, Brenda, used to bring hers over for me to look at and she had the coolest bandaid sticker. So what went into my sticker book? An actual Band-Aid. Yup. These beautiful stickers from Teva Gallery are created from the artist’s watercolor work and would definitely have a place of pride.

Airport codes have always fascinated me, the fact that three little letters assigned to each location are responsible for keeping the entire system organized the world over. Pretty amazing. Neil Stevens seemingly agrees, he’s created a series of flight tag prints based on vintage luggage tags dating back to the 1950s. Which one is your favorite? (You can purchase each by clicking the BUY button on the lower right of each image.)

There’s something equally fresh and classic about a black, white, and gold color palette. Old English Company‘s modern illustrations are simple, bold, and an easy fit for many styles of decor thanks to designer Ben Treanor’s discerning eye. So tough to choose a favorite!

I’ve got a major crush on these Home State personalized return address stamps from Paper Pastries. Each one is hand-letterd by Margaret Haas making it extra special. They’d make a fantastic housewarming or wedding fit, don’t you think? And that white ink on grey is so good.

Have you ever had someone from one chapter of your life pop up again in another one way down the road? I’ve had it happen to me a few different times, the most recent with illustrator Emily McDowell. The two of us attended advertising portfolio school together, and a few months ago our paths crossed again. This time in our post-agency careers. It was a welcome surprise, and the icing on the cake was realizing she was the Emily McDowell whose work I’d been seeing everywhere recently! Life is definitely funny sometimes.
So to celebrate friendship, Emily and I are teaming up on a giveaway of her lovely work. The winner will receive the print of their choice from Emily’s shop along with a second print for their best friend!
This giveaway has ended. Congratulations to Shell!
To Enter:
1. Visit Emily’s shop.
2. Leave a comment below telling me which print your BFF would love best.
3. Do both before Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 11:59 pm CST.
A winner will be chosen randomly shortly after the giveaway closes. Good Luck!
