I love the idea of these glass drinking straws. But I sort of can’t help but think that glass pipettes – you know, the kind you used in chemistry class – would work just as well for a fraction of the price.
Crystal clear Expansif Mugs are crafted out of sturdy heat-resistant Pyrex, so you can enjoy your morning fix without burning yourself. But I am wondering just how easy it would be to grab that piece passing itself off as a handle. My luck it would slip from my grasp and I’d end up scalding myself anyway. Oh, the price we sometimes pay for grand design!
Judge me if you must: I’m not a huge fan of ice cream. I like the soft serve kind and frozen yogurt, but not so much the kind you can just buy in the grocery store. No real reason, there are just loads more things I’d like to digest. All of that said it doesn’t stop me from wanting one of these Cuisipro Ice Cream Scoop & Stacks. I just like the shape “scoop” they make and who knows, maybe I’d pick up a mad ice cream addiction…

It can’t help but make you feel warm and fuzzy inside when you own a piece that’s both beautiful and sustainable. And then when you buy a piece you can rationalize it with the thought that I did it for the environment!
I haven’t checked in on Fishs Eddy in a few months, so the aspiring architect in me was thrilled to find a bevy of floor plan plates and platters. I love the stark black lines of the plans against simple white shapes of the pieces. Bonus: they’re really reasonably priced.
I love collecting sugar and cream sets even though I rarely use them. Suppose I just like how all the pieces work together and their relationships to one another. My latest find? The Trio Sugar and Cream Set. Take ’em apart for tea time and stack ’em up for storage. So, so pretty.

Love the design behind the double-tier produce basket. First, you can opt to separate fruits and veggies that don’t need to head for the crisper. Second, it allows the produce to have 360ยบ of air circulation which (supposedly) keeps it fresh longer. Third, it’s just cool to look at. (#3 is my favorite reason!)

bodum never fails to impress me with their sleekly designed products. They have the gift of being spot-on with everything I lay eyes upon. Like these Yohki canisters. I have something very similar in my kitchen – minus the cool indented lid.
