Mini Meal Planners + Recipe Jotters.

A lovely little meal planner. Eight weeks or 56 days worth to be exact, each separated by a different patterned paper. For those of us who need to plan ahead in order to not eat cereal every night after work. (Guilty as charged.)

And equally lovely recipe jotters. A ring bound book with 16 hand-stamped 3″x5″ recipe cards. Use them for your favorites or your “I have to write this down now”s.

Dualit Toaster.

I heart toast. Plain, buttered or with jam. Peanut butter or cinnamon sugar are also regulars in my repertoire.

My toaster does an okay job, but the Dualit is the King of Toasting. They recently re-engineered their iconic appliance from mechanical to electronic operation. New features include one-side bagel toasting, a defrost setting, wider slots and electronic controls that operate each slot independently. Wowzah.

Gingerbread Cookie Boxes.

I think I mentioned a few weeks ago how I’m making a bunch of cookies to take home to Pennsylvania next month for Christmas. While I have to go the practical, non-cookie crushing route, these gingerbread cookie boxes are flippin’ adorable. Ideal for cookie swapping or sharing baked goods with friends and co-workers!

Keru Keru.

Cool kitchen gadgets knock my socks off. The latest is Keru Keru. Just pour your liquid ingredient of choice into the glass bottle and you’re all set.

The ideal product for those who like to whizzz around in the kitchen, whipping up multi course feasts, know that a table spoon of oil here and a bit of soy there is the standard procedure. One is constantly in need of some liquid and that means open bottle, close bottle, open bottle, close bottle and anybody who has ever spilled a bottle of Thai fish sauce know of the importance of a properly closed bottle.
