Oh yes, I’d love to have this Paper Boat Serving Set perched upon my kitchen table. Although I’m not so sure I could bring myself to serve anything out of it, it’s just so crisp and clean the way it is.
While researching an upcoming project I tripped across Yorktown Road and promptly wondered where this shop had been all my life. Owner Carol Gilbert creates her freeform pieces by letting the fabrics guide her, with no working guidelines involved. The colored linens she uses are so deeply saturated that it’s hard to pick a favorite color or piece, so I’ll just take one of each.

I’ve been swooning over the Random Orbit chandelier for quite some time now and have come to the conclusion that if I had a spare $1,850.00 to spend on a light fixture this most definitely would be the one I blew it on.
