Keru Keru.

Cool kitchen gadgets knock my socks off. The latest is Keru Keru. Just pour your liquid ingredient of choice into the glass bottle and you’re all set.

The ideal product for those who like to whizzz around in the kitchen, whipping up multi course feasts, know that a table spoon of oil here and a bit of soy there is the standard procedure. One is constantly in need of some liquid and that means open bottle, close bottle, open bottle, close bottle and anybody who has ever spilled a bottle of Thai fish sauce know of the importance of a properly closed bottle.

Bee House Saltbox.

When in the kitchen I’m not a pinch-of-this-pinch-of-that sort of cook. I’m very by the book (er, recipe). The Bee House Saltbox would be perfect for that kind of person though – oh so adorable.

Ice Cream Goes Stainless.

I’m not a big ice cream person (shutter!) but I’m a huge fan of these stainless pieces by designer Hisakazu Shimizu and Sabo Studio. Especially the ice cream spoon which is a replica of those horrible, nasty tasting wooden spoons of your childhood. And the pop-up lid on the cup is the best touch.

Ceiling Medallion Wall Art.

I adore this idea: ceiling medallions as wall art!

I’ve always appreciated the intricate detailing of most medallions, but thought them a bit stuffy for my own personal taste. This is a great way to use them outside of their intended purpose. The medallions pictures are of the lightweight urethane variety and painted in subtly varying shades of the same color. So, so pretty.
