I’m sort of completely into animal figurines lately, I trolled the dollar bins are Target for weeks looking for some to spray paint gold. I love these state fair magnets, they’d look completely unobtrusive on my white fridge. You know, for farm animal busts.
Things that look like one thing but are actually another? Some of my favorites. The CuppaCan is a double-walled porcelain coffee cup shaped like an aluminum can. It even has a silicone lid to complete the illusion.
Dip-dyed? No. Digitally printed? Yes. Explains the symmetrical perfection of the Fold Unfold Tablecloth, but I don’t mind a little messiness. Especially at the dinner table.
Join the two halves of the Roll & Mix together and they form a rolling pin, separate them and you have a mortar to grind things and a bottle to hold oil. Multi-functional design, I so get you.
I’d like to gift every friend who becomes a new homeowner with one of these Emergency Cocktail Stations. Mainly because it’s amazing, but also because homeownership requires copious amounts of alcohol some days.
I reuse, I recycle, I want to take on composting. And I use way to many paper towels. I’ve tried to cut back, but there’s something to be said for the convenience and satisfaction of tearing one off the roll. MYdrap basically takes all of those things into consideration and sends them off in a greener direction. Tear one of the 100% biodegradable cotton napkins (or placemats) off their roll, then wash it up to six times before composting or recycling it. MYdrap is available in 20 vibrant colors, four patterns, and five sizes. No excuses left because they’re also really affordable. (Thanks, Anne!)
By the time you’re reading this I’ll be Seattle-bound for a little event I’ve been invited to attend. I’ve never been to the PNW before and am incredibly stoked. Not only to get to do a few awesome things I’d never be able to do otherwise, but also to meet up with some bloggers and my BFF from junior high during the two days I’ll be in town. This girl’s got a good life. On that note, I’m leaving you with an extremely fantastic/extended list of links you’ll want to be sure and click on.
