13 Mantel Mirrors

 

I’ve had various pieces of statement art sitting atop my mantel in both of the homes I’ve owned, but I’m starting to think that it might be time for a change. Lately I’ve been noticing mantel mirrors more often and I love the way they can make a room feel larger through illusion. My living room is a decent size but my home isn’t terribly wide, so I’ve been considering what shape and style I might incorporate into the space. Buy or DIY: Wreaths

 

Have you decorated your entire place or not even started? Are you going all out or keeping things simple? This year I find myself in the DONE and SIMPLE categories and I’m 100% find with it. The first thing I did the day after Thanksgiving was hang my favorite wreath on the front door… because last year’s decoration boxes never got put away but rather sat at the top of the cellar stairs. (How’s that for Insta ready?!) During the holidays it seems you have to pick your battles, and some of them include whether you want to spend hours crafting or would rather place an order online. Trending: Emerald Green
