I’ve had various pieces of statement art sitting atop my mantel in both of the homes I’ve owned, but I’m starting to think that it might be time for a change. Lately I’ve been noticing mantel mirrors more often and I love the way they can make a room feel larger through illusion. My living room is a decent size but my home isn’t terribly wide, so I’ve been considering what shape and style I might incorporate into the space. So far my research has put these thirteen mantel mirrors at the top of the list – which one are you drawn to most?

Have you decorated your entire place or not even started? Are you going all out or keeping things simple? This year I find myself in the DONE and SIMPLE categories and I’m 100% find with it. The first thing I did the day after Thanksgiving was hang my favorite wreath on the front door… because last year’s decoration boxes never got put away but rather sat at the top of the cellar stairs. (How’s that for Insta ready?!) During the holidays it seems you have to pick your battles, and some of them include whether you want to spend hours crafting or would rather place an order online. I getcha and I’ve got your back with this selection of wreaths you can either buy or DIY.

Emerald green has long been one of my favorite colors and I’m so happy to see it’s having a moment this autumn! I love how interiors and fashion often intersect like they are for this trend and can’t wait to take advantage and add a few pieces in this rich, deep hue to my home and closet.
