+ At some point in the past year I’ve become terrible about sending out birthday cards, I’m betting this perpetual birthday calendar download would be a fast remedy.
+ I’m still obsessed with the idea of canning, even though I have yet to do any myself. I’ve got this roundup of jar labels bookmarked for when I do.
+ I never thought the day would come where I longed to have vinyl flooring.
+ Thinking I need to get some sort of popsicle holders/apparatus so I can start making all of the yummy recipes that I’ve seen this summer. Starting with these Watermelon Frozen Yogurt Popsicles.
See this Cinnamon Peach Chili? You need to clear your schedule and make it asap. It’s ridiculously perfect. Kathleen made it Monday for dinner, paired with brown rice and cornbread muffins it was heaven in a bowl.
For the past month cherries have been trying to seduce me. On a few occasions they’ve succeeded and I’ve returned home with over a pound in my bag. I’ll eat a handful here and there, but always end up tossing some that I don’t get to in time. By this point I’m tiring of eating them alone, and beginning to look forward to fall fruits. Until yesterday that is, when I saw this recipe for Black Cherry and Mascarpone Tart which I’m hoping to make this weekend. Don’t those glistening jewels of fruit make you want to dive right in?
When I first saw these layered popsicles I got more excited than any adult should! I’m blaming it on the striations, the colors and being a visual person. Yeah, that’s it. The idea is straight out of Martha Stewart, but I love Ash’s rendition even more. Beautiful colors and flavors like grape, pink lemonade, yogurt, apricot and raspberry made my mouth water! I can’t wait to try them out for myself, and maybe put an adult spin on some of the flavors.
I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this recipe for Mixed Stone Fruit Salsa since it popped up in my reader. It’s so easy and I love that you can use whatever fruits are on hand, meaning it will never be the same twice.
