Picture It.
I apologize for the lighter than usual posting so far this week. I’ve got several projects in the mix and seem to have bit off a bit more than I can chew. Things should be back to normally sooner than later!

I’m so excited that my day has finally arrived for the Blog It Forward mashup! Victoria put so much work into organizing everything and making it all just so that I hope you’re following along. In case you missed it, here’s the full schedule of posts and blog links. I did a little of this and a little of that and before I knew it I had an entire alphabet’s worth of photography before my eyes that had me ooh-ing and aah-ing. So without further ado and any attempt at witty banter, here’s my photographic index of inspiration.
Kite creates such a pretty illusion of flight and weightlessness. I tend to push things to the limit though, so I’m wondering how much weight it can actually support.
Posted In grand design, house and home, storageGrowing up my aunt and uncle had a large 4×3′ map hanging on the wall where they would mark spots they’d visited with push pins and I’ve always loved the idea. So for the past few years I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect map on which to chart my own journeys.
And I think I’ve just found it. The Places on Earth screen print. The entire map of the world is hand drawn by artist Oliver Jeffers and comes signed with 202 pins in a tin, 4 bulldog clips and nails for hanging. 200 pins are black, one is red and one is blue. Red is for marking your headquarters and blue is for your next target. Love. {via unruly things}
Posted In paper goods, printsI’m really looking forward to the Liberty of London for Target release March 14th, but when it comes right down to it I’ve only got eyes for this bicycle! I haven’t owned one since college and I’m thinking it might just be the springtime gift I’m looking for to buy myself.
Posted In collaboration/projectThe best ideas often show up out of nowhere while chilling in a cafe or bar. Bold Ideas has created a series entitled “A Cup” notebooks, based on the ingredients in a drink you might be sipping at any of these given times. Great approach with the kraft paper/color block covers. {via Design*Sponge}
Posted In notebooks + journals, paper goodsSad I didn’t see The List before it Sold Out. A poster created out of the massive amount of bands fronting the word The in their names.
