Dear 1,000.

Dear Post 1,000,

Oh, how I have dreamed of this day. Some bloggers measure in years, but we do it in posts. Who would have imagined little ol’ us hanging around for so long. Do people seriously read our blog? Do they actually pay attention to what I find interesting?? Post 1,000, as much as the two previously noted things surprise me there is something that is even better. And that’s the friendships I’ve formed because of and through Design Crush. These are the things that really make it all worthwhile.

Here’s to 1,000 more!

Oh Man.

I’m going to go ahead and apologize now for what is more than likely going to shape up to be a pretty hectic week. Work has been insanely busy (which is good – don’t get me wrong!) and making the hours of the day disappear faster than I’d like. Unfortunately, that doesn’t leave a lot of time for you, my dear Design Crushers. I promise to sneak in posts here and there when possible and to make it up to you as soon as things settle down a bit.

Cheers!
Kelly

Citrus Juicer.

For some reason I’ve always wanted to own a citrus juicer like this one. I’d set it proudly upon my counter with my Kitchen-Aid mixer and Cuisinart coffee maker and call it a day. Now it seems like at least the first part of that equation is in my budget. I’m loving the color and style of this little guy. And surprise, surprise – it’s from Martha’s Collection.

The Daily Eat: Buttermilk Pie.

Buttermilk Pie isn’t something I’ve ever tried before, but after reading the recipe of this Southern classic I’m intrigued. Do I smell an easy to make Kentucky Derby party dessert? I think I just might.

PB Summer.

I confess. I went through my Pottery Barn phase just like everyone else. There, I’ve said it! I’ll also admit that I still receive their seasonal catalogues in the mail and am rarely interested in more than one item I see there. So when I cracked open PB’s summer issue I wasn’t expecting to see much that piqued my interests. Surprised is an understatement – I found something on almost every. single. page. Is this a new dawn of design for Pottery Barn?
