Way to go, Coca-Cola. Five limited edition ca designs available this summer. Clean, simple and very well done. It’s a tie between the sunglasses and the grill for my favorite!
Ingredients: – 60 ml Bacardi Limon – 15 ml triple sec (Cointreau) – 15 ml fresh lime juice – 8 ml pineapple juice – 8 ml cranberry juice – Angostura Bitters, to taste (I used 3 drops)
Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the cherry. Serves 1.
This Fresh Mango Yogurt Mousse looks insanely mouthwatering. I think I’d skip it for dessert and have some for breakfast instead for a delicious start to the day!
Lately I’ve been hearing some mumbled meows around the house. From what I can gather there’s a little bit of passive aggressive behavior going on (ignoring the litter box in favor of other areas and who knows what else) due to lack of blog fame.
Some other blogger’s pets (Paco, Morran, Chuck and nameless others) get screen time and, well, Roxy and Peanut don’t. I need to remedy this asap for the sake of my carpeting, so I’ll skip right to the introductions.

I love a good teepee. Only I didn’t realize I loved a good teepee until I came across this room. One question: How lucky is this kid?
The stark white, modern-looking teepee/playhouse would be the perfect place to crawl into with a favorite book. And that little table is fantastic – I’d sit down with my coloring book and get to work! I’m really digging how purposely unfinished everything seems – the natural wood dollhouse, the rustic wood elements on the walls and even the white walls themselves. The mobiles are the perfect touch of color in this otherwise unblemished room.
Up until May 1999 I had heard of Cinco de Mayo, but never celebrated the day. That was my first year in Oklahoma and it became evident rather quickly that this wasn’t just another ordinary day. Restaurants host outdoor tent parties, people hold backyard fiestas and it’s all about the food and being together. With that in mind, I set about putting together this roundup of eats and drinks. (And oh, those lovely banners in the above photo are available here. via Simple Lovely)
Mango, Lime + Ginger Muffins that look incredibly decadent, yet remain healthier than either of us would ever dare to guess. (Things in teacups always look so much better, don’t they??)
Congratulations, Janil! And thanks so much to all of you who entered, making this the biggest and baddest Win It to date with 125+ entries! Also a BIG thank you to YellowGoat for offering up one of her incredible pieces of jewelry for you lucky ducks to win. (She even randomly chose the winner herself! That’s her photo.)
