FOOD COVER TOYAMA
Loving the distinct shapes of these food covers from switch design. It would be amazing to see more involved shapes like chicken, an egg, etc. {via Sally J Shim}

I’m crazy about these silk scarves from Liberty of London, they remind me of looking through a kaleidoscope. {via Greedy Girl}
Posted In accessories, wear itSound is an art, so I think it naturally matters what we’re listening to it through. You can pick up a portable stereo on the cheap, or you can invest in something a little more awesome that’s also going to be a great conversation piece. Something you’re likely to keep around for years and years to come that’s going to be a mainstay in your home. I live and breathe through my Bose SoundDock, but there are so many great options out there. What are you listening through?

You’d think they would have been able to come up with a better word than curd. And when it comes to fruit butters the name is just so misleading. I guess all you really need to know is that they’re super easy to make for the most part and incredibly delicious. (As always, click on the images to be taken to the original post and recipe.)

I absolutely, definitely, 100% need to get myself the Scorpio print from this series by Andrea Daquino. Actually, I wouldn’t mind owning the entire horoscope collection in all of its mixed media loveliness.
Posted In create, mixed media, paper goods, printsThe second I saw these kicked up modern friendship necklaces on HonestlyWTF I knew I had to make them for a few ladies in my life. The first batch included eight, although there are a few more waiting to be made and sent on their happy ways. Each one used colors that matched my friends individual personalities and styles, so much fun. Easy too, I think each one took me less than two hours to make. Here are a few of the unknowing models…

Can’t wait to make a few of these Hex Nut Bracelets and Woven Chain Bracelets, too!

+ March desktops: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
+ Possibly the most perfect ballet flats ever.
+ And with these printable paper cameras I do believe I need to start a papercraft collection!
+ I love this wedding theme like whoa.
+ Definitely making a few of these painted bottles for (much anticipated) spring flowers.
+ Probably these, too!
+ McSweeney’s Open Letter hilarity.
At the end of the day minimalism is still my favorite style, as it will probably be up until the end of my life. Joke of tokketok captures it perfectly in every single piece she creates. (I’m crossing my fingers for the day I get to do a blind embossing project for a client!)

I don’t know what it says about me, but I’ve been incredibly drawn to the imperfect lately. The tarnished, the ragged, the rough-around-the-edges in life. For me Jessica Ricci’s Raw collection falls into that lovely category. Her rings looks so much like hard candy that I’d be hard pressed not to pop one into my mouth. (Her collection of keys is also exceptional.)
