Korean artist Moon Chanpil explores the complicated relationship between predator and prey in this series of four paintings. The different levels of both traits apparent in each piece are hauntingly fascinating.
I rely on an arc lamp and one table lamp to light my living room, but have been on the hunt for a second. SHare Studios, aka Stephanie Hare, has designed a stellar lineup of glass-bottomed vessel lamps that can be left empty or filled with whatever you’re feeling – a terrarium, fresh flowers, etc. I love the versatility and functionality.

I’d be thrilled if today was as light-filled as these Mirror Mobiles from Elkeland. The Danish studio creates them from geometric shapes that reflect and bounce light once suspended. Every Monday can use a little extra light if you ask me.

Photographer Maroesjka Lavigne‘s Land of Nothingness lets us explore Namibia’s scorched barren plains and washed out landscape. Nothing, upon nothing, upon nothing until all of a sudden… something. I’m fully blaming Lori Larusso and her It’s Not My Birthday, That’s Not My Cake series on the massive craving for sweet that I’m experiencing at this very moment. Each one is acrylic and enamel on panel, but it may as well be a slice of goodness on a paper plate to me.
These scented candles by Talbot & Yoon – lovingly called Goobers – are both fun and functional. I don’t know about you, but I’d have a tough time setting light to them with their quirky shapes and personalities!

London’s Darkroom is an independent design label and store changing up the generic and the bland.
