Organic Avenue.

My mom has a collection of mini milk bottles from her hometown. I love the thick glass and raised ink of the logos. And I think that’s what draws me to this packaging from Ocean Avenue. Although the pretty colors and likelihood of tastiness are also high on my radar! {via The Dieline}

Penguin Classics + Project (RED).

I feel like I post something about Penguin almost every other week, but it’s just because they’re that on top of things. Like this collaboration with Project (RED) and a team of obviously talented designers. Eight covers were given the once over, replacing the classic black band with red and using a memorable quote from the book as the main visual.

Win It: T.ruffles.

I’m positively giddy (well, as giddy as I can be on a Monday morning) over this week’s giveaway! The T.ruffle girls, Mary and Karey, are two of my favorite people. And their shoppe? Well, it just happens to be one of my favorite things. Mary opens the doors early with a dazzling photo, while Karey closes up at night with the sweetest words. And this week they’re debuting a brand spankin’ new print right here, right now. For you. (And maybe a little for me, too, since coffee is another of my very favorite things.)

Bin.

Bin is two parts: cylinder and lid. No mechanisms or levers. Nothing besides the genius of Shigeichiro Takeuchi. {via swissmiss}

Kite.

Kite creates such a pretty illusion of flight and weightlessness. I tend to push things to the limit though, so I’m wondering how much weight it can actually support.

Places on Earth.

Growing up my aunt and uncle had a large 4×3′ map hanging on the wall where they would mark spots they’d visited with push pins and I’ve always loved the idea. So for the past few years I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect map on which to chart my own journeys.

And I think I’ve just found it. The Places on Earth screen print. The entire map of the world is hand drawn by artist Oliver Jeffers and comes signed with 202 pins in a tin, 4 bulldog clips and nails for hanging. 200 pins are black, one is red and one is blue. Red is for marking your headquarters and blue is for your next target. Love. {via unruly things}
