I love the egg-like shape of the OvoPur, an eco-friendly water filter. There’s also the OvoBar, a beverage dispenser for whatever you choose. How gorgeous would either of these look sitting on your counter? Very.
I’ve been waiting for Tim Burton’s remake of Alice in Wonderland for at least the past year, maybe longer. I’m not a die-hard fan of the original, but I am a big fan of Tim Burton and of course, Johnny Depp. And now we’ve all got just about a month left because on March 5th it hits theaters. Don’t you just love the tag line? We Are All Mad Here.
Yes, I know that’s February already, but the swell thing about the Ring Calendar by Sebastian Bergne is that it’s endless. Meaning use it for the rest of your days. Forever and ever amen.
Each perfume bottle in the Nasomatto line of perfumes is original and distinctive while remaining true to a certain formulative look. Choose from the scents of Duro, Narcotic Venus, Hindu Grass, Silver Musk, Absinth or China Wine. Each designed and perfected by Alessandro Gualtierri.
You read Alyson Graves’ blog, Unruly Things, yes? And you’ve also taken notice of her letterpress venture, Postal Press, no? Then this is definitely your lucky week. And this is definitely one of my favorite giveaways in the history of giveaways. Recently Alyson began offering custom business cards with your silhouette, all you have to do is send her your photo and they take care of the rest. Are you ready? This week one of you will be the winner of 100 custom Silhouette Business Cards!
To Enter, Tell Me: 1. What your current business cards look like. 2. Your email address (In case you win. Those who do not will sadly be disqualified.) 3. Do it all before Monday, February 8th at 9am CST
PS: Congratulations to #14 Allison, the winner of last week’s Strawberry Luna giveaway! Which is oddly fitting since Strawberry Luna is run by an Allison (who I want to say thank you to!)…
There’s something about black line drawings with large fields of color that make me stop and stare each and every time. If it involves buildings and killer architecture there might even be a little drool involved. Budapest-based Lehel Kovacs has both down with his google street views series. He even threw in some pretty hand-drawn type, taking it to over the top awesome. {via ink + wit}
12 Books in a Box would make my life so organized that it would hurt. Perfect for keeping a journal, a sketch diary, or just about anything else. They’re covered with handmade paper and come snuggled into a little box for safekeeping. I hate it when my notebooks/journals/sketchbooks get all tattered and would love pulling out a fresh new one each and every month!
Simon Attwater’s Shopping Losts are brilliant, genius and all of the above. He collects pieces of this and that, amongst them lost shopping lists that he turns into little treasures reflective of the originals. Misspellings, crossed out items and all.
Not all of us have a valentine come February 14th, some of us have pent up aggression and bitterness instead. Which means we probably need Louella Press’ letterpress voodoo doll kit. Each one is perforated and comes with its own accessories, like six pearl-tipped pins for doing your dirty work.
