A few weeks ago Pantone released their color predictions for Spring 09 and I have to say, I’m really in love with most of them.
“Spring traditionally evokes a sense of freshness and new beginnings, with sprouting shoots and blossoming flowers that inspire designers to breakout of the winter doldrums. Bright colors return to the top 10 list for spring ’09, as designers incorporate vibrant pops into their collections, yet temper the vibrancy with deeper, translucent or neutral tones.”
Posted In graphic designI’m loving these line drawings by Robert Samuel Hanson. Nothing like animating something stationary to pique my interests and simultaneously freak me out. (Just a little.)
Posted In create, illustrationI’ve grown herbs before but always neglect to use them. And then I feel guilty. I love that the Herb Stand put herbs and scissors in the same place – making it way more probable that I’d use both. And that’s not even the end of the functionality story – the pots are also easy to separate or attach to one another.

Posted In grand design, grow itI adore these Something Good is Going to Happen prints from Valentina Design. I want to put them right in front of me so I can stare 24/7 to remind myself that it is, in fact, true.

I’m semi-obsessed with this Missed Connections print from Very Small Array. I think I probably need it. The entire print is revamped each week with the latest fifty Craigslist Missed Connections posts per state.

Posted In paper goods, printsI do. So I love these. It always makes boring chores seem more exciting when they’re at least written on something fun!
Posted In paper goodsLoving these pieces by So-Cal illustrator Kevin Dart. Muted tones just always get me. Right. There.

I love snippets and scraps of paper. Love them to death, in fact, so it’s no surprise I fell in love with Royal Buffet’s mobiles. Creator Mollie Greene is a girl after my own heart!
Posted In accessories, house and home, paper goodsI need the Twice As Nice Double Timer in my kitchen. I’ve been making a lot of dinners lately that require a few pots to be going at the same time and using both my oven and microwave timers to keep things on track. Pathetic. This little thingamajig is the answer to my prayers. And as a bonus cute and retro-y.
