Plantable Cards.
Loving these plantable cards from Round Robin Press (available at Red Stamp). Those sweet little abstract birds are adorable!

Posted In cards, grow it, paper goodsThanks to my obsessions with both notebooks and planners, the Chronotebook by designer Wong Kok Keong is my favorite winner of the MUJI Award 02 competition by far. I can’t wait to get my hot little hands on one!
Diary schedules are arranged in lines and grids, which are difficult to see and has little flexibility. This notebook makes it clear, intuitive and easy to plan and see your daily schedules.

Posted In notebooks + journals, paper goodsI try and never post two similar topics back-to-back, but when I came across the work of photographer Alexandre Duret-Lutz this morning I knew I’d have to break that rule. The following pieces are photos he took as part of the Worldwide Panorama Event and are completely and utterly breathtaking. Not only am I in awe of the beauty captured, I also want to know how they were accomplished since I’ve never seen any work similar in nature. If they tickle your fancy make sure and check out Duret-Lutz’s site for many, many more.
Posted In create, photographyTo say that I’m obsessed with Craig Kanarick’s Eye Candy series would be putting things mildly. Kanarick (the original creative force behind Razorfish) took his fascination with candy design and transformed it into a brilliant study in color.
Posted In create, mixed mediaI don’t collect wine labels. But I am guilty of snapping photos of them with my cell at the liquor store, much to the chagrin of anyone accompanying me. There’s just so, so much good design and inspiration on those little stickers that I can’t resist!
The label on the back of Oxford Landing’s wine bottles is brilliant. Tear the little tab off of it as either a reminder of wine you liked and want to buy again or as a keepsake for the occasion. Smart design at work, my friends.

I am rarely still on the weekend, so it was a surprise that I was able to sit through not one, but four movies between Saturday and Sunday. My eyes feasted upon the likes of Atonement, I Am Legend and Superbad.
As well as my favorite, Waitress. I’m probably going to need to own this one at some point. I loved it. It’s even better if you watch it while eating homemade blueberry pancakes. Or so I hear…
Posted In see itthis water is simple: a blend of pure fruit juices, crushed fruit and pure spring water. I love the fun, whimsical feeling of the label for something so honestly simple. Has anyone seen this beverage in stores outside of the UK?

Another astounding piece. This one – The Wolfman – all animation and a great little story with the perfect narration and music. (Thanks Zenya!)
That’s right folks, Privacy Urinals. Two words I never thought I’d actually type together on my blog. But when looking at design you need to be unbiased, so there you have it! Thanks to designer Mark Rock the boys (no pun intended) can enjoy a little more coverage and great design at the same time.

I’m semi-obsessed with this Gatorade commercial lately. All because of the way it was shot. Love it.
