Posh Betty.

Posh Betty is full of fresh, modern, custom-designed announcements, business cards, invitations and letterhead among other things. Everything has a clean, retro feel to it which I adore. I think the brown invitation would be so much fun for a cocktail party.

Angie Lewin.

The rough, blocky, mod-ish qualities are what initially struck me about Angie Lewin’s work. I love the textures which seem to almost jump off the page at you, they almost feel tangible. Angie is a printmaker out of the UK who specializes in linocut, wood engraving and collage. You can see more of her work and purchase prints on site. She also has an interesting blog – All Things Considered – worth checking out.

Tiny Living.

The genius store Tiny Living was created as a response to New York City’s cramped living conditions by a husband and wife team who have spent many years living in cramped NYC apartments- one of which was a studio that measured a mere 200 sq. ft.! Tiny Living offers a range of cleverly designed, affordable items that are small in scale, multi-purpose, flexible or organizational.

Row 1: reusable single cup coffee filters, wall wine rack, stainless steel cheese slicer;
Row 2: magnetic stainless steel cylinder, stackable mugs, chrome over-toilet magazine holder

Monday Goodness: Listography.

I love a good list. Listography is a site devoted to just that. You can make your own lists on just about anything and check out everyone else’s at the same time. Some that I spotted this morning: Guily Pleasures, Fictional Men I’ve Loved and Attack of the Sweet Tooth.

Chad Kouri.

I haven’t come across a lot of information about artist Chad Kouri, but I’m in love with his collage-like art. He also has some pretty awesome logos on his personal portolfio site. Check it out for some Friday eye candy.

The Designers’ Prayer.

I saw this and need it after the week I’ve had. I’m sooo glad it’s Friday. However, even though this week has been my Best Week Ever, it’s still about equal to a good week at my last job. So all in all, not that horrible I’m thinkin’.

(The Designers’ Prayer is the genius work of Selina Hull.)

Teas’ Tea.

I tried a bottle of Tea’s Tea Green White this afternoon and it totally freaked me out. Mainly because I’d failed to notice the word unsweetened on the label, but also because it tastes like tea you would be served in an Asian restaurant. As in actual. real. tea. The packaging is why I picked up the bottle (and paid for it, don’t worry) in the first place. I like the unexpected shape and clean type. The bottle itself feels sturdier than most plastics, so it seems like you could hang on to it and put it to another, reincarnated use. (Watering plants? I don’t know.) Definitely worth a try, I think I’m headed for the Lemongrass Green next. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you about the unsweetened factor!

Hannah Stouffer.

Illustrator Hannah Stouffer creates amazing works of art, full of layered images, overlapping textures and vivid color palettes. You can purchase silkscreened prints of some of her work at her online store, as well as totes and buttons. (The Lust in Pulp series is my favorite!)
