Bubblegraphy is a series of vases that can’t help but capture your attention. Studio Oddness, a collaboration between Thomas van der Sman and Adrianus Kundert, has created a special process to blow bubbles into the glaze. The end result looks three dimensional and makes each and every vase 100% unique.
Larry Mantello creates some of the most amazing pop culture-based art I’ve seen yet. Using everything from plush Garfields to Rolling Stone air fresheners to entire packaging displays, Mantello pieces together little bits of the 1980s that all but take me back in time.
Showdown carpets are entirely fresh and different. Each one is created using urethane foam that is hand-mixed and poured into syringes before being hand squirted into lines and shapes. The end result is an experiment in color and patter that looks like a rug. Take a peek at the process below.

In Juana Gómez‘s Conceptual 2015 combines photography and embroidery as each piece is overlaid with the appropriate body system or musculature. Gómez aims to point out that which is always present in every moment of life but is rarely seen.
Portraits, reclaimed bottles, and plenty of plant life all play parts in Julian Meagher‘s paintings. Some so dimensional that I had myself questioning just what I was looking at. I’m pinning it on the fact that Meagher is a former medical doctor with an innate understanding of 3D, though he’s also trained in traditional oil portraiture in Florence, Italy and carries over some of those techniques. Whatever the case, just wow.

I’m smitten with Julia Gabriel Studio‘s latest denim series collection. The Houston-based brand is known for architectural shapes and humble materials that are meant to be carried daily as they age with grace.
Thomas Colligan is an NYC-based illustrator and designer with what I’d liken to a graffiti style. It lends itself well to the subject matter – disjointed scenes telling quirky stories through color blocking.
