Amy Smyth of Amy Smyth Made It is a lady after my own heart. She’s got attitude. She loves design. And she’s got a knack for combining the two. Not to mention she’s an awesome illustrator. What else can I say – Amy’s the entire creative package. Check out her extensive line of paper goods here.
Posted In cards, paper goodsI adore this limited edition First Words Book by Alyson Beaton. Created to record baby’s first and favorite words, there’s a card for every letter of the alphabet enclosed in a glassine envelope. Each card is hand letterpressed using 100 year old wood type in four different colors.

A set of 20 illustrated recipe cards from Etsy seller My Zoetrope that are so colorful and adorable they made my afternoon. (Love the asparagus’s underwear!) You receive two of ten different original designs for only $6.00! The seller is quite the artist, too, so be sure and check out the rest of her work when you visit.
Posted In kitchen, paper goodsFabulous Stationery recently launched a vast line of calling cards with their signature sketchy designs. “Sketchy” in a good way, of course. Here are a few my favorites, but head over to FS and check out the entire plethora for yourself.
Posted In business cards, office, paper goodsThe brilliantly tongue-in-cheek Offensive + Delightful has just rolled out their new collection for 2008 and it’s as delightful as expected. Designer Olga Krigman always has the best lines. Maybe it’s because she’s Russian. Or maybe she’s just a real firecracker. Either way, I’m glad she shares it all with us. The bold, graphic designs are just a sweet, sweet bonus.
Posted In cards, paper goodsNow this? This would be a fun card to give. Or receive.
Posted In cards, paper goodsPatricia Zapata (aka A Little Hut) had the best idea ever when she created her calendar as a PDF you purchase then download. I saw 2008’s, but was too slow to act. Before I knew it, it was March. Not this year – I was her first customer! I can’t wait to go all crafty on mine and get out all of the lovely little snippets of paper and things that I’ve set aside for just this sort of thing.
Posted In calendars, paper goodsI was in a real letterpress slump for awhile, but I can feel myself pulling out of it as I type. Thanks in part to these adorable birthday cards from Night Owl Paper Goods. (Psst… Order $40 worth of merchandise or more and receive a free cotton tote bag!)
Posted In cards, paper goodsGenius. I love it. And my fingers are cross that I don’t ever eat an entire pan of brownies and feel obligated to send it myself!
