Happy Weekend.

How do you plan on spending your weekend? Tonight I’ll be going to a local benefit, Raising Haiti 2.0. If you’re in Oklahoma you should plan on stopping by, all proceeds are headed straight to Haiti.

Valentines Roundup.

Doily Valentines.

For the second time this week I’m mad at myself for having been ahead of the game and having my valentines finished. To me doilies normally seem overly stuffy and remind me of crocheting, but these Doily Valentines somehow manage to look chic and clever. I think it’s the decidedly un-Valentine’s Day colors that help get it done. (Note to Self: Ditch the pink and red next year.)

Vintage-Label Keepsake Boxes.

Inspired by French apothecary packages, these labels are printed on newsprint to mimic the faded look of the originals. (Although I believe tea-staining would work wonderfully as well.) You can download them to make your own for some sweet Valentine’s Day treats!
