In the blogging world few things make me smile ear to ear like a “coworker” taking their love of making to a new level. We Make Stuff is the new venture of Funkytime founder Sibylle and her equally creative brother. The Berlin-based business creates high-quality handcrafted one of a kind pieces for urban interiors with wood, concrete, steel, and textiles as their signature trademark. Can’t wait to see what’s in store from this awesome new line!

Well-Designed End Tables

Even though the coffee/cocktail table is the horizontal star of most living rooms, in my experience the end table gets far more everyday use. Right now I only have one – a collapsible metal table with removable tray – and am on the hunt for another. My space is mainly mid-century modern with a twist, so something along the lines of these eleven below would be ideal.

Soapbox is a versatile line of furniture that’s available in a range of woods, colored hardware, and leg lengths that I’m currently drooling over. Each piece is designed to be what you need, where you need it. Quality furniture that you put together without tools that is going to last. In a big box world that’s rather refreshing.
