Gifted: Useful Towel.
Another great piece from Bailey Doesn’t Bark, the Useful Towel. Anyone who spends time cooking or baking would love this 30″ flour sack towel that has useful information printed on it hanging in their kitchen.

I love the science lab meets kitchen feel of this set of two pipette vinegar bottles. And of course, they dispense exact measures of any liquid condiment you choose to display. Perfect for the haphazard cook in your life. {via design-milk}
I own a monstrous collection of dish towels, so many in fact that they inhabit an entire shelf in one of my kitchen cabinets. I think I could make room for one more though… so long as it was one of these sweet Ampersand Monogram Dish Towels. (Great holiday gift, dontcha think?)
Posted In kitchenI’ve been eating a lot of soup and sandwich lunches lately (RE: every day for the past two weeks!) and am thinking this cute soup and sandwich tray duo would come in big-time handy. Bonus: I love my dinnerware to be stark white. I need this.
I love a good cake plate, which is what I see these mini pedestals as in my mind. Or maybe it would hold my perfume bottles. Or spice bottles. Each vintage base is unique and handcrafted out of a vintage powder coated brass candlestick holder base and detachable oval corian top. Because the base and top detach, the possibilities really are endless! {via Two Brunettes}
I’m equal parts repulsed and fascinated with this Teeth Mug. The perfect combination for the Halloween-o-phile I’d say. {via Better Living Through Design}
New graduate Jack Bresnahan exhibited a series of biodegradable plastic lids that repurpose used tin cans into household containers in a New Designers show last June. A set of nine in all, which transform the cans into objects including a vase, soap dispenser, sugar caster, tea and coffee canisters, toothbrush holder, money box and desk tidy. Love these, very smart design at work.
Posted In grand design, kitchenThe ultimate way to make sure no one ever steals your coffee cup again. Why? Well because your portrait is on it of course! House of Harriett handpaints them – cute or kooky, you decide.
Posted In kitchenBodum’s new Bistro toaster is serious. It has adjustable slots and a built-in warming rack along with all the usuals we expect. I’d buy it just to be pretty counter candy though, the design is a spot on mix of retro and modern. I’ll take the white one, please!
Digit Spice Jars perfect for the typophile or the overly organized. I’d be perfectly content with owning the #4 (it’s my lucky number!).
