I’m in love with my simplehuman trashcan, but should things ever fall apart between us I wouldn’t think twice about heading over to the Tumbelor. I kinda sorta love how it’s a modernized version of the mall trashcan! Baby blue, please.
Today is the first that’s dipped below triple digits in five. long. days. Drop it to about 80ยบ and this outdoor office would be perfectamundo. A great combination of inspiration and perspiration.

Posted In officeFabulous Stationery recently launched a vast line of calling cards with their signature sketchy designs. “Sketchy” in a good way, of course. Here are a few my favorites, but head over to FS and check out the entire plethora for yourself.
With gas prices rising and showing no signs of slowing down, lots of offices are allowing their employees to work at least one day a week from home, eliminating some commuting costs. I, personally, am not a big fan of working from my place. I get easily distracted by things (i.e. kitties, music, my stuff) and have to constantly remind myself about the task at hand. But our office is actually one of many discussing the possibility of working remotely part of the week. Since I’d already had plans to make the third bedroom in my house an office/studio I’ll at least have a place to shut the door and attempt to focus. But this brings up the new issue of having Work-Work things on top of Play-Work things.
I think these MeBoxes might help me differentiate a bit between the two. The ends of each MeBox have a grid of perforated discs that you can punch out to crate initials, numbers, symbols and text. (Really I just want an excuse to buy a few!)
I have a *slight* obsession with office products, so when I saw these Post-it Sheer Colors this morning I flipped. Genius way to improve and expand the market of these indispensable office supplies. If they had been around when I was in college I would have gotten a lot more moola back on my re-sales at the end of the semester!

Calling cards are such a great thing. I hate making a contact that’s not business related and having to hand them my work card. I’m not saying it’s unattractive by any means because I love them. It’s just sort of, well, my Work Card and I need a Kelly Card, too!

In theory these alphabetical paperclips would make me highly organized. I honestly just like the design and curves.
Como containers would be a crucial element in my dream studio. I can just imagine filling their drawers with supplies, inspirational treasures and things I’ll lose and forget about for months as I type.
Aside from a great business card portfolio (which I have yet to find) I think this card file would be a fantastic way to get the little guys organized and all in one place. I love the little letter dividers and tension rod that keeps everything snug. Another example of great design at work.
