Corezone.
Corezone is a ceramic heart-shaped vessel that you can place you thoughts, feeling and emotions into. Write them down on pieces of paper and put them inside. You must then physically break your own heart to free them. {via Design Milk}

This is undeniably the summer of the homemade popsicle. With sky-high temps rocking the country, who can blame everyone for wanting to stay under the cover of chilly AC and tasty treats? Not I. {Click on the photo to link to the recipe!}
Posted In recipes, round upI’m plotting ways to pull off this do-it-yourself vertical garden in my entryway. Luckily, Renee Garner put together a plan to create one from an old crate. Check out the full tutorial over on Modish.
The Roberts Revival Radio looks straight outta the ’50s, but is outfitted with LED display backlighting and is MP3 compatible. One of these perched upon the kitchen counter is sure to make you feel like a mega-Betty Crocker.
+ Oh, yes. I want to live here.
+ Some days like today this is a very good reminder.
+ Simple and clean mailing labels to download, print + send.
+ Some August desktop calendars: 1, 2, 3, 4
+ Definitely trying out this idea for fruit juice ice cubes!
+ A plethora of strange contraband from JFK airport.
Happy Weekend!
Posted In downloads, happy weekend, recipesThese seed packets from This Neck of the Woods are so cheerful and well organized! I love the colors and the corresponding patterns screen-printed onto each packet, representing what kind of seeds are inside. {via Paper Crave}
+ At some point in the past year I’ve become terrible about sending out birthday cards, I’m betting this perpetual birthday calendar download would be a fast remedy.
+ I’m still obsessed with the idea of canning, even though I have yet to do any myself. I’ve got this roundup of jar labels bookmarked for when I do.
+ I never thought the day would come where I longed to have vinyl flooring.
+ Thinking I need to get some sort of popsicle holders/apparatus so I can start making all of the yummy recipes that I’ve seen this summer. Starting with these Watermelon Frozen Yogurt Popsicles.
+ Cherry Lambic Ice Cream Floats are on the menu for this weekend.
+ This art deco motorcycle is HUGE yes.
Happy Weekend!
Posted In downloads, happy weekend, house and home, recipesSee this Cinnamon Peach Chili? You need to clear your schedule and make it asap. It’s ridiculously perfect. Kathleen made it Monday for dinner, paired with brown rice and cornbread muffins it was heaven in a bowl.
Posted In recipesOver the past decade or so I’ve amassed quite the collection of cameras. Let’s see… there’s my trusty PowerShot that’s usually in my purse, the Rebel, my dad’s old Minolta, two other manual 35mm my aunt recently handed down to me, and a Polaroid among forgotten others. Several are missing from my collection, namely a Holga, a Diana and this beauty of a twin reflex lens, the Blackbird. (As a side note, I’d also be up for being photographed with the Blackbird! It’s a natural beauty.)
It would be lovely to be sipping a tumbler of Watermelon Punch spiked with rum right about now. Perhaps while sitting by a pool or relaxing on a front stoop, watching the day go by. So long as it’s under 90ยบ.
