I’m going ape over these vellum mobiles Jordan of oh happy day put together for Project Wedding! I love the look of sewn paper, but never imagined it like this. How perfect would these be for a kids party, a baby shower or a Thursday?
I love this solution for kitchen storage from Vessels and Wares – hanging wheelthrown stoneware bowls. Makes me wish I had more room under my wall cabinets to hang one of my very own, though I’m thinking settling for the single bowl just might do the trick! {via the kitchn}
A brand identity for Julian in Kansas City from Jordan Gray Creative. The restaurant features refined twists on familiar comfort food from chef Celina Tio. The name comes from Tio’s main cooking influences – Julia Child and her grandfather Julian. Fantastic color palette and type.
I have an big collection of dish towels in my kitchen. And while absurdly large might be a better description, I can’t help but lust after these sweetly juxtaposed Town and Country towels from Lisa Jones Studios.
This week has been a bit topsy-turvy (a new theme in my life lately), so I’m thrilled that the weekend is here! It’s going to be filled with the Festival of the Arts, playoff game four of the Thunder v Lakers (4th row!) and dress shopping for a family wedding next month. Happy Weekend!
One of my domestic dreams is to have the be all, end all of backyards. Different nooks and crannies to sit in and wile away the hours, lots of greenery hanging here and there and a gorgeous stone fireplace. And now when I think about it all I see is the furniture from Gardenhouse. PS: I’ve had that yellow loveseat bookmarked for ages with no idea of its origin. Fate!
Found is the first carbon neutral juice company in the world. It’s 100% organic, pure fruit – no additives or preservatives. The intent of the bottle design was to mimic those thoughts with no front or back, making it as transparent as the juices. {via The Lovely Package}
The other day I realized just how big my love for Post Its is when I flipped over to a new color (neon pink) in my cube and became irrationally excited. Even by my standards. I can’t even fathom the the giddiness these Geometry Post Its would being into the humdrum of daily office life. {via Black Eiffel}
Kegless is an bag-in-box solution for carbonated beverages. Like boxed wine, but beer instead. Not only is it eco-friendly by using less materials than single serve packages, Kegless is also cost effective from a manufacturing and distribution standpoint. How rad would one of these look sitting out for a get together? Very. {via Core77}
Australian designer Tom Hussey is behind it all and is one of fourteen finalists in the student category of the 2010 Australian Design Award and the Australian component of the James Dyson Award.
Who needs kitchen cabinets? It’s tableware that doesn’t look like tableware when it’s not in use. Six floors make up each building of these Florentine-inspired Renaissance homes in this set of Palace Stacking Porcelain Tableware. Even the roof is a dish.
