I think one of these minimalist Loop Stand Hall wardrobes would look smashing in an entryway. Display your favorite coats and hang your guests’ coats in a most artistic way. {via swissmiss}
I’m sort of obsessed with good candles, if you hadn’t figured that out by now. And my latest obsession is from Skeem. With scents like Tea Leaf, Sweet Balsam and Yuzu Vanilla you can’t go wrong. Add to it their pretty reusable glass containers and it’s a no brainer.
Made from native Minnesota hardwoods and crafted by a family of woodworkers, these ash wood cutting boards are gorgeous. Carefully cured, sanded, and finished with food-grade mineral oil, they’re moisture-resistant and the perfect statement for prep work on your counter or as a serving piece or trivet on your dinner table. {via the kitchn}
The Sweet Surprise is a ceramic series of dishes, cases and buttons by Lenneke Wispelwey. Sweet, delicate designs with the perfect candy colors. {via design is mine}
These handmade paper puppets by Furze Chan are currently out of stock, but I couldn’t resist sharing. Choose from a bear, baboon or fox. Each puppet is made from thick paper card stock and has moveable joints. I can’t say I’d mind having a set of my own, the design is so eye-catching. {via Oh Joy!}
I moved into my house in July 08 and have yet to do a thing to my guest room other than inflate an air mattress. Does that even count? It’s not the biggest of spaces – roughly 10×12 – and just thinking about how to decorate it exhausts me. I want it to be comfortable without being crammed and my biggest conundrum is the bed itself. As in how in the world am I going to fit one in there with any other piece of furniture?!
But now I think I’ve found a solution, and I wasn’t even looking. Isn’t that how the best things happen? Check out Blik’s new headboard decals. There are five designs and a boatload of color options. I’m really digging the wrought iron in charcoal best, but you can check them all out here.
Banter Banners are the more creative sister of the classic ‘Happy Birthday’ banner and perfectly acceptable to leave hanging year round. Love. {via greedy girl}
This week has been swamped with fusterclucks, both at work and at home. So you’ll have to excuse me while I only post a weekly roundup of good stuff today instead of my usuals. Have a lovely weekend and I’ll see you back here Monday!
