Rice.

Now that warmer weather is kicking in, outdoor entertaining is right around the corner. And while I adore my Fiestaware for indoors I don’t take outside. That’s reserved for one of my favorite things: melamine. And one company that consistently gets it right is Rice, tons of bright colors that are easy to mix and match and scream let’s do this!

Fishcondo.

Easily the coolest fish bowl I’ve ever seen, Fishcondo is a geometric fish bowl that resembles a condo for your aquatic companion. Stack a few together for a condo-like appearance. A glass bowl is surrounded by a white shell and can be easily removed for cleaning. Fishy not included. Definitely makes me want a fish for my desk at work! {via Rare Bird Finds}

Perfumed Incense Papers.

Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian created these perfumed incense papers as an experimentation in scent. He infuses delicate strips of paper with versions of his signature scents that are tailored for interiors. The perfumed incense papers come in a matchbox-like box and can either be folded into zigzags for burning or placed in drawers to keep things smelling pretty. {via Cool Hunting}

Monkeys Always Look.

I came home from work yesterday to find the guy who mows my lawn going at it for the first time this year. And then I panicked. Because all I could think about was the three months of dog crap in my backyard that I had planned on scooping up this weekend. No, really. But he just ran it all over and I checked “fertilize lawn” off my list! Now I can focus on planting.

Or I could have someone talented plant things for me in cute terrariums and call it a day. And not have to step in mulched dog crap to see results.

I Like to Draw.

I like to draw. I am awesome.

Those are the words etched into these two blue pencils. The set comes with a notepad that’s handbound and features fifty pages of ideas to draw at the top of each, from Draw a picture of your meal and don’t forget the crumbs to Draw a picture of a map of a place you would like to visit. {via Mixed Plate}

Totem.

At first glance, Totem looks like a perfectly normal vase. But then you take a closer look and realize it’s actually four stackable bowls, perfect for storing food or other little trinkets. Each piece is made by hand in New Zealand, making them “perfectly imperfect.” {via Better Living Through Design}
