The fact that I now know how to make my own Dupioni silk yo-yos is trouble. Trouble because I want to make gads of them and put groupings on absolutely everything. Cardigans, headbands, wreaths, you name it. So classically pretty. {via Style Me Pretty}
As I’ve made abundantly clear, I’m all about good jars and container. And these by Burgon & Ball make me want to flip my lid. Pun intended. Sorry, it’s early!Fill them will all of the tasty things you concoct in your own kitchen.{via eat drink chic}
My day was made when I received a surprise box from Vosges with a few samples from their Easter 2010 line of goodies. Including this yummy Amalfi Bunny (lemon zest + pink peppercorns + white chocolate) and these delicious Bacon and Eggs (soft bacon caramel + dark chocolate). Can’t wait to dig in! PS: The rest of the Easter line is equally drool-worthy!
I love the rough-around-the-edges look of the floral wall in Ruche’s spring lookbook. Feminine without being too sugary sweet. Ruche was kind enough to put together a little tutorial detailing how they constructed them out of butcher paper for us on their blog. Would be gorgeous suspended from the ceiling, too. {via black white bliss}
After tons of rain yesterday including a flooded front yard today is gorgeous! I woke up at 6:30 to find the sun already peeking over the horizon, blue skies and birds chirping. Spring is literally sitting on the doorstep waiting to be invited in.
I’ve never been a big picnic person, but I’m hoping to change that once things dry up. In no small part thanks to this picnic set by Carina Ahlburg that I just can’t get enough of.
It’s official! I’ve got spring on my mind and all that comes with it. Quality time spent outdoors, patio parties with friends and all things green. In the meantime I’d settle for a few of these Sky Planters indoors. Fresh herbs in the kitchen? Yes, please!
So, what are your plans for the weekend? Tomorrow I’m taking part in a bowling fundraiser for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, then checking out Momentum. A yearly art show here in OKC featuring artists under 30. Here are some highlights from the past week for your viewing pleasure…
Coral seems to be making a resurgence lately, so I couldn’t help but linger on this set of four kitchen jars by Alessi Mediterraneo. They remind me of something vintage and right out of the 70s. {via Layers of Meaning}
I’m mad for these Commemorative Motorsport bags from Caracalla Bagaglio. Each bag is fashioned after past triumphs of famous race cars and their drivers. But you don’t have to be a racing fan to appreciate the gorgeous aesthetic of these weekend getaway bags. The detailing is immaculate, even the color schemes of the leather closely mimic their respective cars. {via Cool Hunting}
My mom has a collection of mini milk bottles from her hometown. I love the thick glass and raised ink of the logos. And I think that’s what draws me to this packaging from Ocean Avenue. Although the pretty colors and likelihood of tastiness are also high on my radar! {via The Dieline}
