I love pumpkin-centric recipes just about more than any others, so I thought I’d continue on like last week and add a little mini-roundup to each day’s The Daily Eat. It helps me get rid of some of my stashed recipe links and maybe (just maybe) it will give you some new bookmarks of your own!
I’ve never made my own cinnamon rolls before, but I’m liking the looks of these Pumpkin Brioche Cinnamon Rolls. I think experimentation time is drawing near… maybe for Thanksgiving breakfast?

Last year was one of the first in my life that I didn’t carve a jack-o-lantern to light up on Halloween night. I don’t want to end up in the same place again come Saturday, but time is running short and I’m a busy gal. There are lots of carveless pumpkin ideas floating around out there, but these two in particular might be just what the doctor ordered for my front porch!
It’s tough to beat the salty-sweet mega-combo. I’m thinking I may have just found this year’s entry into my family’s Thanksgiving dessert-off in this Milk Chocolate Pretzel Tart!
I’ve been staring at Chris Ware’s Halloween cover for the New Yorker off and on over the past few days and have decided I love it. Very, very much so in fact. Definitely enough to want a print of it. {via Boing Boing}
After three months of feline/canine cohabitation, the kids seem to have adjusted fairly well. They still have all of their eyes, noses and tails so I’m going to go ahead and take that as a good sign. (See Piper’s tail in motion? It. never. stops.)
